Angel in Disguise Inc. is an Approved Provider NAC # 6767 for Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Continuing Education (CE) Classes, Continuing Education Classes for Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Classes.
Since July 1, 1978, California registered nurses have been required to document continued competency by completing a minimum of 30 contact hours every two years in subjects relevant to the practice of nursing. Courses must be taken through a continuing education provider recognized by the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN). Angel in Disguise Inc. is a recognized Provider with the Board of Registered Nursing, California since March 16, 2010 Provider No. CEP 15472.
Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Psychiatric Technicians (PTs) are also required to renew their license every two years.In order to keep an active license the LVN/LPT must complete thirty (30) hours of CE. The course(s) must have been completed within two (2) years prior to the date of renewal of your license.
This approved Provider NAC number applies only to CNA/CHHA in the state of California. We were approved by the Department of Health Services, Aide and Technician Section. (ATCS) on July 2, 2009.
The Federal Government mandates that all Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants attend 12 hours of training each year. In order for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to renew their certification a total of 48 CEU (Continuing Education Units) are required every 2 years. In order for a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to renew certification a total of 24 CEU (Continuing Education Units) are required every 2 years.
